    What this skill does

Structures your day into 3-3-3 in under 5 minutes: 3 hours of deep work on ONE specific outcome, 3 priority tasks that close today, 3 non-negotiable routines. Returns a daily plan and, optionally, schedules the deep work block on Google Calendar.

    Why 3-3-3

Founders fail for two opposite reasons: too many priorities (paralysis) or zero structure (drift). 3-3-3 forces balance.

    • 3 hours of deep work — only one thing truly matters. Forces real prioritization.
    • 3 tasks — they fit on one screen and close within the day. Anti-procrastination.
    • 3 routines — non-negotiables that make up the operating system.

    When to use

    • Early morning, before opening Slack/email
    • When you feel like you are running without producing
    • To structure a productive Friday (not a shallow one)

    Don't use for:

    • Generic to-do lists (this method is opinionated)
    • Weekly/quarterly planning (use OKRs)
    • Long-term goal setting

    How it works

    1. The skill asks 5 questions in sequence, one per turn
    2. Step 1: identifies THE deep work outcome of the day (not 'work on X' — the final outcome)
    3. Step 2: schedules the specific block (what exact hours? 3h)
    4. Step 3: the 3 priority tasks (up to 1h each)
    5. Step 4: the 3 routines (health + relationships + business)
    6. Step 5: generates the plan in markdown + a 1080x1080 card. If Google Calendar is connected, offers to schedule the block

Iron rule: max 3 per bucket

If you try to put 4+ items in any bucket, the skill firmly refuses. It is not stubbornness — it is the method. Compromising on the 3 breaks the friction that produces real prioritization.

If a task spans several days, it becomes a project and the skill asks for the next executable 1h step. If a "routine" is only for today, it becomes a task.

    The methodology

The 3-3-3 Method is a synthesis of:

    • Deep Work (Cal Newport): a protected block for high cognition
    • 12 Week Year (Brian Moran): short execution sprints
    • Daily routines (Marc Andreessen): routines as an operating system

Developed by Ivan, founder of Marfin Co., after 8 years running multiple businesses in parallel.

    Pre-reqs

None required. If you have Google Calendar connected, the skill offers to schedule the deep work block automatically.
