    WORKS IN
    CLAUDEany setup

Pure-LLM skill. No MCP, no paid tool required. Works on Claude.ai web, desktop and Claude Code.

    WORKS BEST WITH
    • Filesystemoptional

reads transcripts straight from the Fathom export folder / ~/Downloads/ instead of you pasting 5000 lines

    • Google Calendaroptional

pulls the original call invite to confirm attendees and flag drift between the planned agenda and the real conversation

    What this skill does

Takes a sales call transcript (Fathom, Otter, Granola, or pasted text) and returns a structured analysis: objections, interest signals, risks, next steps with deadlines. 5 minutes after the call instead of the 25 you would spend reviewing it by hand.

    What the postmortem covers

    • 3-sentence summary (problem, offer, closing signal)
    • Top 3 interest signals (with timestamp/quote)
    • Top 3 objections (with tone: hard, soft, performative)
    • Risks identified (with probability)
    • Next steps: what we promised, deadline, owner
    • Next question to ask the prospect (seed for the next call)

    When to use

    • Right after a 30min+ discovery call
    • After a product demo
    • After a closing call

    Don't use for:

    • Internal calls (use daily-standup-synth)
    • Pure customer interviews (use customer-interview-5why)

    How it works

    1. You paste the full transcript (messy is fine)
    2. The skill identifies the speaking turns (you vs prospect)
    3. Marks the 3 highest-signal moments (tone shift, price question, etc)
    4. Maps objections by category: price, timing, authority, priority
    5. Returns explicit next steps with deadlines (not 'I'll think about it')
    6. Suggests the 1 question worth asking in the follow-up

    Output example

Postmortem: João Silva — Acme Co — 2026-05-06

    Summary
12-person company, real pain with recurring SEO. They would pay,
but today they spend only R$ 200/month on Semrush. The CEO decides.

    Top 3 interest signals
    1. (08:42) "if this worked, I'd pay tomorrow" — strong quote
    2. (15:30) Asked about price unprompted
    3. (22:10) Asked to bring his partner to the next call

    Top 3 objections
    1. Price (soft): "R$ 500 is more than I pay today" — handle: ROI per hour saved
    2. Timing (performative): "start of the month doesn't work" — handle: free 30d pilot
    3. Authority (real): partner has to approve — handle: bring him to the next call

    Risks
    - 60%: partner vetoes on price
    - 30%: they take 4+ weeks to decide

    Next steps
    - YOU: send the deck by Friday (2026-05-09)
    - THEM: confirm the call with the partner on Wednesday (2026-05-13)

    Question for the next call
"If this saved you 10h/week, what would you spend it on?"

    Pre-reqs

None. Accepts a transcript from any tool (Fathom, Otter, Zoom, pasted text). The cleaner it is, the better the output.
